About the Designers

    Jewelz Studio is a jewelry design company founded by longtime friends and artists Janet Levine & Mary Ellen Morano. In this spirit of cooperation and friendliness and the desire to work at something that is fun and joyful, came the inspiration to start Jewelz Studio.
    Several years ago they discovered the delight of jewelry making after spending many years designing textiles for the home furnishings industry. They approach their jewelry from the perspective of fabric designers: focusing on color, pattern and texture, weaving metal and glass, contrasting subtle and vibrant colors and combining shiny and matte surfaces. Deeply influenced by the “jewelz” of nature, such as Turquoise, Agate, and Quartz, it is the gemstones themselves that inspire their work.
    Their motherhood jewelry line, “Moxie Mama”, is inspired by their own children and the pure happiness and balancing act that is part of being a modern mom.
